After a few long days of development sprint over the weekend, we are please to announced our first free theme to compliment our RapidGallery extension. This theme is called RGTheme (version beta1) and is available to everyone who wishes to use it. Even though it's meant to compliment RapidGallery, it does not mean you cannot used it for any other websites you have in mind.
RGTheme is a simple and minimal theme to focus more on the content.
So what features are built into RGTheme:
- Compatible with Joomla! 2.5 only
- Dark grey colour theme
- Modified version of Beez5 template
- Custom typography fonts (googlefont - Lato)
- Can load the sidebar on the left or right side of the page or have a single page without sidebar for content
- 11 module positions
- Masonry js hack to lay out the thumbnails for RapidGallery
- Supports the following browsers - IE8 / IE9 / Firefox / Chrome / Safari / Opera
- HTML5 ready
TODO: Make theme adaptive to accommodate mobile and tablet devices
